On the main walking pedestrian mall in Munich near the Marienplatz is one of the breweries and its restaurant, Augustiner.
It’s a little less crowded than the Hofbrauhaus, and I believe that the food selection here is a little better. It has the same standard fare, but the ambience is what you go for here. And the beer of course.
It was my baby’s birthday and we went out to Neuschwanstein Castle, as I wanted to bring my princess to a castle for her birthday.
We came back and decided to have our dinner here.
Lena went with Weisswurst for her meal. I love Weisswurst, such a great sausage.
And I went with the Schweinshaxe, the Pork Knuckle. I never eat the doughball that comes with it, as that always just sits in the stomach.
Love the food in Munich. Just wish there were more vegetables…
