Raohe Night Market

We started off touring the Confucius Temple and then the Changing of the Guards.  In between we had Gyoza 🙂

We then changed hotels from the Sheraton to the W, because of points and free nights, etc.

We then headed out to the Ladies Garment Market where Lena bought some clothes and then walked to the Raohe Night Market.  Quite different than Shilin, a long stretch of walking up and down and many interesting things.  There were a lot of herbal Bak Kut Teh type stalls, but we didn’t try them.

I saw my fried chicken!  But did not get…

Instead, because we had been eating so much fried foods and other things, we decided for a little healthier option.  Steamboat!

This was about $200NT, what a deal!

Then we went for some snacks after that.  Here is Grilled Scallops.

And then the famous Black Pepper Buns.  Fresh from the oven and oh so yummy!

Raohe is definitely different than Shilin, and I would love to walk it again and try some other things.
