We took another day trip out of Taipei, this time to Jiufen.  We wanted to go to the teahouses and have some food.  It didn’t disappoint.

Our first stop was for this.  Deep Fried Squid tentacles.  Man was this good.  Crispy, juicy, just about perfect.  This was original flavor.

“Brain Cakes”.  Pork with mushrooms, bamboo shoots inside.  Tasted nice.

Sea snails.  Just saw, didn’t eat.  Though I wanted to.

We loved the squid so much we went back for more.  This was seaweed flavor.

I could have eaten a lot more down this street!
