Kiat and Gek Leng chose Picotin at the Turf Club for Keira’s Birthday Dinner. Nice ambience, menu was not bad. I didn’t have a chance to take all the photos, but, here is what Lena and I had.
Salad to start off. Yes, that was just me. As good as salad could be, fresh crisp greens and good dressing.
For our mains, we went with Vongole au Blanc and a Calzone.
The Vongole au Blanc was nicely done, good flavor, not bad at all.
The Calzone on the other hand, a complete mess.
Crust too thin, dough not so nice and not enough sauce inside. A disaster.
But the main purpose was to celebrate Keira’s birthday. Happy Birthday!!!
