One of the things I love about China are good all you can eat from the menu Japanese places. Some of them are just plain good. There is one right close to the Shanghai Pudong.
Located at this corner:
The storefront looks like this:
Walking in, you find a nice ambience.
A nice panoramic view of the dining room. There are private rooms on the sides, but those need to be reserved usually.
The menu.
There are two prices. The first one is all you need. The second means that you can get the below for that price. There are items in the menu that you need to add money for, but it’s written out and the waitress will tell you so if you try to order it when you order the buffet.
Just pick up the menu and point or say whatever it is that you want. And then it comes.
Chicken Wings that are stuffed.
With crab roe!!! Wow, so good!!!!
But oh so bad for you!
This is more like it right? Tuna on salad.
Beef Carpaccio.
Fried Oysters. They said it was good.
Fish cakes stuffed with cheese. Not nice at all.
Some simple sushi.
Beef on hot plate with garlic. Yum.
Sashimi. Good quality and fresh. Very nice.
Unagi.
Ika! Nice.
Chawanmushi. Very nice version here.
Grilled codfish. Very nice also!
Uni. Could get a little bit more on the uni, but still quite nice.
Gyoza!
Prawn Tempura!
Fried Sotong Tentacles!
Unfortunately the only item for dessert is Taro Ice Cream. Not bad.
I like Japanese buffets in Shanghai, but you have to choose wisely!
