We’re back! My dad’s early birthday dinner has to be in his favorite place, 東溢豐 Good Kitchen in Flushing. The whole family got together and we ordered a bunch of dishes!
But first, Lena and her lobsters!
When my parents found out jellyfish was on the menu, they needed to have it ordered. Nice and crunchy, seasoned nicely, a good starter dish for us.
Shrimp with Honey Walnuts. It’s missing the mayonnaise sauce, but that was on the side. So I dipped instead of having it on there, as some of us can’t take that sauce. Nice and crisp, the walnuts nice and sweet and crunchy. A perfect dish.
The Braised Fish and Tofu that we normally get.
Sweet and Sour Pork! A favorite of all of ours, especially the kids. They love this dish!
Tom and TC’s favorite. Beef Filets on a sizzling hot plate with Kai Lan. The beef is so tender and just nice.
Garlic Chicken. This one nicely done and juicy!
Char Siew with flat noodles. Quite nice, a favorite of Kimberly’s!
Here is dessert from Martha’s Country Kitchen in Forest Hills. We bought and then took to the restaurant.
Here you have a Strawberry Shortcake and a Cherry Cake along with Cake Pops.
And then the Birthday Apple Pie! Dad loves his apple pie!
