The famous Peking Duck restaurant has a Shanghai outlet on Huaihai Rd, and we decided to go for it with my Shanghai team.  全聚德 is outstanding in Beijing, how about in Shanghai?

A little Bai Jiu for the others.  Crazy strong and just nasty. Appetizer time.  The traditional smoked fish. Jellyfish and Cucumbers. Duck Liver Duck Tongue.Duck Feet Lotus Duck Gizzards Spicy Duck Blood Stir Fried Duck IntestinesA Curry Prawn dish Some Scallion Pancakes. And the star!  The Duck! Look at the meat!I have to be honest.  I didn’t think it was that great.  It was good, don’t get me wrong, but not that great taste I encountered the first time I had it in Beijing.  I am not sure why.
