Unchan is this cool little restaurant that specializes in homemade pastries, but has a full fledged Thai menu as well. Went for dinner to check it out.
As I mentioned, they have a lot of baked goods, as the owner is a pastry chef. She told us that there are many interesting items to check out and allowed us to sample quite a bit of items.
On to the meal. This is an interesting drink, it’s a Blue Pea drink. Tastes a little strange, but it’s not bad.
Fried Chicken Wings.
Smoked Pork Collar. Tasty!
This is one of their specialties. It’s a sour-ish Pork Soup. It had an interesting taste.
Tom Kha Gai. Didn’t want any more Tom Yum, so went for this. Nice flavor!
This is a Chicken Yellow Curry. More like a Chinese style Chicken Curry.
Minced Pork with Basil Leaf. Yum.
Another favorite – the Sea Bass with Chili, Lime and Garlic.
Braised Pork Ribs.
This one was interesting. It was a Yellow Curry Seafood inside of a Coconut.
I had a fabulous Thai Milk Tea Cake for dessert, which I forgot to photo before I wolfed it down.
This place is unique. Atmosphere is good, food is good. A good stop when you’re in Khao Yai.
