Noodle Alley in the heart of Namdaemun.  A space where there are stalls of aunties selling the exact same thing – noodles.

In fact, every stall sells Hot Noodles, Cold Spicy Noodles and Bibimbap. Don’t ask me why we chose this stall, we just did.  Maybe because there was an open seat and enough room so my son could spread out a bit.

Here is the Auntie who cooks.  A very nice lady who took a liking to my 18 month old. Here she is cooking up the Hot Noodles. We need our Kimchi! We decided to go with each noodle.  Little did we know that when you order a regular portion, you get a small portion of the other kind of noodle to try it out.  So to our surprise we got a large portion and a small portion of both noodles .  We couldn’t figure out why until later! Here is the smaller version.  We really thought she split it up because she made a portion for our son!  This noodle was quite spicy! The hot noodles.  Very rich in broth and great tasting. Can’t really tell the difference between big and small here.An experience for sure.  Come in, sit down and enjoy!
