A Shanghai pastime is Crayfish. Every summer Shanghainese sit outside and chow down on them. Now, they do it year round at restaurants everywhere.
There are many ways to eat it. Interestingly enough you start with Prawn Crackers. This one is 13 Spices. It’s spicy and good. This one is non-spicy. Garlic and Ginger. Quite nice also. You can add noodles to the broth afterwards. We saw the Mantis Prawn, so we tried it. But, overcooked and not so nice.Go sit and enjoy the crayfish!
