Kushi Katsu, another Osaka tradition. Who doesn’t like fried foods?
I went to the angry man in a mall and not on the Dotonburi, but it’s the same.
But first before we begin, we must follow the rules of dipping and the sauce. The sauce is communal, so there are rules.
You start off with Edamame
Then you order a set. Mine had Prawn, Asparagus, Beef, Quail Egg and Rice Cake.
Then Lotus Root, Pumpkin, Tonkatsu, Chicken Meatball, Capelin, Adductor Muscle and Squid.
I added on some more – Waygu, Iberian Pork and Chicken.
Expensive, but so delicious.
The whole thing was not as oily as I thought it would be.
