MO Bar – Marina Bay

High Tea at the MO Bar is Asian Fusion themed at the moment.

It started with a Lemongrass Pineapple Granita with a Coconut Kaffir Emulsion. Nice and light, a good way to start.

The next plate had Tandoori Chicken Rice Paper Roll and Fried Potato with Citrus Mayo. The Spring Roll was a different fusion style and the Potato nice and crispy.

The tier came next and there was, as usual, savory and sweet.

The savory was a Pastrami with Kyurizuke and tonkatsu mayo, Black Truffle Egg Kueh Pie Tee, and Maine Lobster Salad Roll. The Pastrami and Lobster lacked sustenance, with little meat and taste. The Kueh Pie Tee was a nice flavor explosion.

The Sweet was Earl Grey Chocolate Mousse, Yuzu Tart, Cheesecakr and Pistachio Choux. All were nice and light, great tastes. Better than the savory tier.

Chocolate and Vanilla Scones with Cream, Marmalade and Jam were nice and warm.

It was finished off with some nice chocolate and an added surprise for our Anniversary!
