Met is a local place in Hanoi in the Old Quarter and definitely caters towards tourists.
The prices are a bit higher but it is very easy to sit in comfort and enjoy your meal.
Banh Xeo was a little smaller than what I am used to, but still fresh and very flavorful. Smaller is ok, since you roll it in the rice paper rolls anyway.
Banana Flower Salad with Prawn and Pork is nice and refreshing. I do like the salads in Vietnam quite a bit.
This dish, phở chiên phồng, is fried pho noodles with beef and veggies. I like it because it is a different texture and taste. Usually the Fried Pho is smaller but here it is quite big. On its own, it has no flavor unless you add the ingredients and the gravy.
Summer Rolls, Pumpkin Soup, Vietnamese Coffee and Egg Coffee round it all out.
