After a fun day at Legoland with the little one, we wanted some good food before heading back to the hotel, so we chose Tian Lai.

We like to get fresh seafood when in JB, but with only 3 of us, how much can we get? A lot!

Salted Egg Crab is fresh and wonderful. Perhaps a little too heavy at the end as we ate two 1kg crabs. But was it fresh and sweet!

Steamed La La in Herbal Soup was a huge portion and also fresh. The Soup gave it a different taste, which was interesting.

The Cereal Prawn was a little disappointing for two reasons – they could not deshell it for us and it was a bit overcooked. Thus the shells stuck to the meat and it was a bit chewy.

The Frog Legs with Scallion and Ginger was fresh as well, with good flavor.

The Sweet and Sour Pork also was a little disappointing. The pieces of pork were hidden by the coating. So it was mostly Sweet and Sour Coating.

And of course Ampla Juice to go with it.

The price was RM350 (S$100/US$75). Quite a good price.

I would stick to fresh Seafood here for sure.
