I have not been to Greenwood Fish Market in a very long time. I went to the original branch many years ago, but this time we found ourselves on Sentosa and at Quayside Isle and decided to have lunch here.
We ordered quite a bit of food, as we started with the Seafood Basket – Fish and Chips, Prawns, Calamari and Scallops. Everything as so fresh and crisp. Just beautifully done.
We had to get Fish at the Fish Market, so we went with a Pan Seared Wolf Fish with Mashed Potatoes and Veggies. The fish has the same consistency as Cod Fish, and was delicate and tender to the touch. A nice piece of fish for us.
We also had the Grilled Spanish Octopus. This was tender and done to the right degree for sure!
Oysters to start, these were from Coffin Bay Australia. Fresh and wonderful.
Greenwood’s reputation is earned and this meal shows why it earns high marks all the time.
