Ta Xi Si Hong Kong Dim Sum in Johor Bahru is well-known for its Dim Sum and I had a nice lunch with a colleague there.

Here they serve on trays, someone will carry a big tray with different dishes on it and you just say what you want. Semi-old school I guess.

Siew Mai and Har Gow, always my two barometers.

Here they have regular Siew Mai, and then also one made from Dang Gui. Both were good. Well minced meat inside and full of flavor.

The Har Gow is also nicely steamed and fresh.

Xiao Long Bao is also quite nice.

Chicken Feet and Prawn Chang Fun – both good.

Fried Enoki Mushrooms wrapped with Ham – not so great. A little too oily for me.

Egg Tarts were small and a lot of crust. Only ok for me.

I wish I could eat more, but we were done. A lot of selections, and no menu to guide you. Just see what they have and go for it.
