We landed in Danang and immediately headed to Hoi An and our first meal had to be at Morning Glory Original.
We had read so much about it, we needed to go.
We went for all the specialities right away.
First was Cao Lau – Rice Noodles with Pork in a light broth. To me it was a little lacking in flavor.
Next up was White Rose Dumplings. Filled with ground shrimp, it was a different taste with the herbs.
Ban Xeo, another speciality. This one was not quite what I am used to as it was a little smaller and more deconstructed. So when it was wrapped in the rice paper it didn’t hold up well.
Banh Cuon was nice and soft, a very delicate taste and bite.
The Morning Glory Salad was fresh and the perfect compliment to the meal.
