Le Gia 2 – Danang

In Danang there are many places to go and get Seafood since it’s right on the sea. Most places have tanks of live seafood and you can spend as much or as little as you want. We didn’t really know where to go, so we chose Le Gia 2 based on recomendations. It was a quiet night, and it seemed like all places were not crowded due to the wet weather.

The first you notice of course are the live tanks of seafood. Everything from Shellfish to Shark to Fish, etc. Your job is to choose what you want to eat and how you want it cooked.

We went for Fresh Clams in a Lemongrass broth. These were so fresh and large, it was quite nice especially in the broth.

Next was a fresh fish, steamed with Soya Sauce and other ingredients. So fresh and tender.

We did go with a land dish, the Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, but the meat was really fragments of bone and not so nice.

For veggie, one of my favorites in Vietnam – baby pumpkin.

I think a lot of these places are the same, just a matter of what you choose. But you can’t really go wrong.
