We wanted to try something off the beaten path and Gilman Barracks is that. That is how we found ourselves at Hopscotch.
The menu is definitely different. A mix of Asian Fusion dishes, but not sure how it all translates.
The Nachos were pretty tasty, but pretty average at the same time. Nothing really special about it.
The Swordfish Ravioli was not what we expected. We thought it would be Swordfish mince as a filling, instead it was cheese Ravioli with slices of Swordfish Sashimi. I can’t say that it was a good combination. I would not have order these two items separately and put them together. Quite a fail if you ask me.
Our last dish was Brussels Sprouts. Very nicely roasted.
I am not sure about this place. It has an interesting menu, but not sure that items are described correctly and therefore people are hesitant to try them or order them. I know we were.
