Miznon is another place I have planned to visit, and finally had a chance to go for a lunch. It features Israeli food, but with some modern twists.
Miznon’s lunch menu features a lot of Pita Pocket sandwiches, for lack of a better term. Stuffed inside are some great ingredients and compliments.
My first choice was the Lavan. This is Roasted Cauliflower with Tahini, Salsa, Chili and Spring Onion. What a great combination and a great bite. The taste of the just done Cauliflower, so it’s still crunchy, but done, mixed in with the other ingredients gives it a great taste.
Next up was the ABU Kebab. A more traditional, but slightly tweaked, Schwarma, for simpler terms. A Lamb and Beef Kebab with Chili, Salsa, Pickles, Onion and Parsley. Such a classic combination, but the taste is amped up over the traditional Schwarma or Gyro style.
