Hotel Kanyemeon was our stop in Mt Fuji and we had an absolutely delightful Kaiseiki meal for dinner! We were pleasantly surprised as we did not realize that it was included in our stay. Good thing we didn’t have dinner before we arrived!
Because we arrived a bit late, the food just kept coming!
Starters of: Rice Cake with Wild Vegetables, Milk Tofu with Lavender, Shellfish simmered in Soy, Tea Mousse, Summer Orange Vinegar and Caprese with Apricot and Mozzarella.
Then a Soup with Conger Pike, Deep Fried Tofu, White Gourd and Fish Noodles.
Then there was Grilled Sea Bass and also Kosyu Beef.
BBQ live Abalone also with Garlic Butter and regular Butter.
Rice with Octopus and Miso Soup.
Oh yes, Kaleb got his own kids meal! Tempura Egg, Karaage, Seafood Gratin and Pasta. And Sashimi too!
What a feast! It was all so good! We had to take the dessert back to the room!
