Il Forno is a cool Italian joint located in Nashville, just off the Gulch. It’s in a pretty industrial looking building but the food is awesome.
We started with Fresella -almost like a Bruschetta. Tomatoes with Burrata, wow, so fresh and a great pop for the taste sensations.
Carpaccio of Beef and Octopus. Fresh!
Some Meatballs and Porlezza – Fried Polenta with Gem Lettuce. What can I say? Good!

For Pasta we went with a Rigatoni with Black Truffle Sausage Cream Sauce. Done just right!
A Cioppino – awesome with the Bread.
For Pizza we had the Amore (Ricotta, Artichoke, Olives and Basil) and also a Margherita.
