Hai Kah Lang is a Fish Soup restaurant that has opened in the Sentosa area of Johor Bahru. It’s quite famous and draws long queues.

The system is quite nice, you get a queue number, find an order taker who takes your number and takes you order.

When your number is up, you are seated and served almost immediately.

We ordered two types of soup.

The Mixed Seafood Special and then the Coral Grouper.

The Seafood was nice and very big with a good taste.

The Coral Grouper was a disappointment, as it was fried and dry. At least the soup was nice.

I don’t think this place is worth it, considering the food and the wait – we waited about 45 minutes at 11am.
