Coco’s Italian Market is not very noticeable, but when you go in, it’s like you were in Little Italy.
They have an interesting item called a Timpano. I have never heard of it before. It has Meatball, Egg, Cheese all wrapped up Lasagna Sheets and then baked. I got the Southern style, with marinara on it. The Northern is a little different, with Chicken and Mushrooms and Alfredo sauce. The marinara sounded better, so I got it. It tasted good! Like a Calzone.
The Meat Pizza is good as well.
Chicken Marsala came, and it wasn’t quite like we thought. It was a pasta. Chicken with Marsala Cream sauce on pasta. Interesting.
A Seafood Alfredo. Not bad at all.
And the Calamari was interesting too, with some peppers thrown in.
