Krua Khao Yai – Khao Yai

USCHO Bracketology

I'm also the Bracketologist for USCHO.com, where we try to predict the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship. Here's the Bracketology Blog. From 2011-2014 I had it pegged right on the button. 2015 was a little off, but I came back to nail it on the nose in 2016. In 2017, I was off a bit, but there's always 2018!

About Me

I was born and raised in New York City and lived in Singapore for 8 years. In 2014 I moved to Seattle, and I had a new base to check out foodwise. But now at the end of 2015, I am back in Singapore, and still traveling and eating around the world.

I travel quite a bit, I love to cook, but I also love to eat out.

Here I will share with you the love of life that I have, particularly through food and travel. So come join me and all the friends I have made along the way!

Did you think I would leave Chicago without some Deep Dish? A New Yorker laughs at the idea of calling this Pizza, so I only call it Deep Dish 😛😁. The flavors are good and the sausage makes it. I won’t say which is better, that is clearly understood from my point of view. But Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is always a great eat! #jaymoyeatschicago #sgeats #sgfood #sgfoodie #chicagofood #chicagoeats #deepdish #nycpizzaisbetter
I miss Italian-American food. Veal Parm for the win! #jaymoyeatschicago #sgfood #sgeats #sgfoodie #chicagofood #chicagoeats #vealparm #italianamericanfood
Food brings us together to celebrate, whether it’s in sadness or happiness. A good meal with family is worth more than anything in the world. In Chicago, we celebrate the life of my 二大姑 with family and food - just the way she would have wanted. She always took care of me and always made sure that I was doing well. 大姑, I am sure it’s great to see your sister again. I will see all of you again someday.
Its a little bit upscale Dim Sum but it’s still pretty good and quick. Taste is there and you can enjoy it. #jaymoyeatskl #sgfood #sgeats #sgfoodie #kleats #klfood #dimsum
Claypot Braised Bee Tai Mak, Big Prawn Crispy Noodles, La La and Veggies in KL Chinatown. Not bad for settling when other choices were already closed. #jaymoyeatskl #sgfood #sgfoodie #sgeats #kleats #klfood #klchinatown #beetaimak
Authentic KL Hokkien Mee - nice, not too oily and deep in flavor. Moonlight Hor Fun - almost the same flavor and texture. Great spot for KL classics. #jaymoyeatskl #sgfood #sgfoodie #sgeats #kleats #klfood #klhokkienmee #hokkienmee #moonlighthorfun #fatdieme
Went Vegetarian again in Munich and it feels so good. Tofu Stroganoff - and it was tasty. The only downside is I wish some of the veggies weren’t the frozen kind. There are alternatives in Sausage filled Munich. #jaymoyeatsmunich #sgfood #sgeats #sgfoodie #municheats #munichfood #munichvegetarian #tofu #tofustroganoff #vegetarian #prinzmyshkin
Another of the famous spots to get your Beer and Meat on in Munich. Quarter Duck and Pork Slices. German comfort food at it’s best. #jaymoyeatsmunich #sgfood #sgfoodie #sgeats #munichfood #municheats #germancomfortfood #germanclassics

MasterChef Australia

MasterChef Australia

I’ve always said that the Australian version is by far the best version in the MasterChef franchise. Compare it to the US version? No comparison.

It’s time for Season 11!

When it got down to the Top 6, I was surprised Derek was eliminated but I had Tessa, Nicole and Tim bound for the Top 5.  Simon was close for me, and I said that Larissa was surprising me now, having that Billie or Elena vibe about coming on at the last moment.

I thought that it would definitely be a woman for the win this year, and my money was on Tessa.

But, it was Larissa!  Congratulations to her.  A surprise to me for sure.

I am also saddened to learn that Gary, George and Matt won’t be back next year.  The show won’t be the same…
