Along with my parents, we paid a visit to their old friends in Vancouver, and on the way home we had a craving for Cantonese Comfort Food.
Along the nice stretch in Richmond where there is a ton of places to eat, we went to Max Noodle House.
It’s just as advertised. Good comfort food that sticks and tastes great.
A little Congee. This one, though you can’t see the ingredients, is Old Style, with Squid, Fish, Pig Intestines, etc.
Beef Brisket with Tendon on Noodles, dry style.
Add some Wonton to it and you have the soup version.
