How about some traditional Irish food near my parents’ house?  Banter Irish Bar & Kitchen is right on Queens Boulevard and quite an interesting place, so we decided to bring the whole family there to eat.

Here is a nice sampling of their items:

Traditional Irish Stew.  Nice with lots of nice lamb.

Guinness Beef Stew.  Also quite nice.

Chicken Pot Pie.  Different take for sure.

Fish and Chips.  Nicely done fish, fries only okay.

Blackened Salmon Salad. 

Raspberry Goat Cheese Salad.

Not a bad meal, and the drink selection is quite nice too.
