One of the most celebrated Hokkien restaurants in Singapore is Bee Heong Palace in Telok Ayer. It has some specialties, so we went here for a family dinner.
We start with a little Hae Cho. A little mushy for me, I didn’t find the taste too nice.
Here is Seafood You Tiao. A little too crispy for me. Not sure on this one.
There is a chicken in there somewhere! This is their Fortune Chicken, which is Chicken baked in Pickled Vegetables and other items. The chicken was tender, not so sure of the sauce though…
Some Spinach which was salty as anything.
A Steamed Grouper Hokkien style with the Tofu and Tomatoes. Good fish. A little over though.
Egg with Prawn.
Seafood Noodles. Okay, not bad.
Dong Po Rou. Not bad, best dish of the night so far.
Cereal Prawns. Not enough cereal, prawns a little overdone.
DIY Popiah!
Fixings.
Filling.
My masterpiece!
Can’t say it was a great dining experience. I have to pass next time.
