We went for a Groupon for Bobby’s and the Western food at Chijmes. Believe it or not, I have never been to Chijmes before, until today.
Pretty standard fare. Good, but not awesome. The prices are a little high, but not out of control.
Here is Chicken Dijonnaise. A nice taste to it.
A Grilled Sirloin. Also ok, as you can’t get a great steak in Singapore most of the time.
I had a nice Cobb Salad. Believe it or not, there was not a lot of lettuce in this, which is usually the case. I sort of wanted some more lettuce, but the toppings are huge.
And what I think was the best dish for me, a surprisingly great Buffalo Wing. This was done absolutely right for me. Crispy texture, juicy chicken, and the sauce was just right with the Vinegary buffalo sauce which was not Frank’s, as usually is the case overseas.
I’d go for the Wings more often. Provided they were $18 a pop!
