Puesto at the Headquarters is one of the spots to go for Taco Tuesday. They have a great special going there for their Tacos, where they are $2.50 each, and a little extra if they are the specialty tacos.
The kitchen is open to see them assemble their food.
Quite a casual atmosphere.
They make their own Azul Tortillas, with the blue corn, right on the spot.
OK, taco time!
I went with the Lobster, which had an entire claw in it, along with Fried Onions and a Cilantro Crema and Avocado. Nicely done, the lobster and the crunch from the onions was nice.
To the right of that is the Grilled Seabass with Red Cabbage. A little less impressed with this one, as it was a bit overdone.
On the right is their taco of the day, which was a Chipotle Pork Tinga. Braised Pork Shoulder, Chorizo, Potato, Chipotle, Avocado, Cilantro, Queso Fresco and Chicharron. This was awesome! So tender and the flavors altogether were just great. I went back for a fourth! The Filet Mignon with a Pistachio Crema. The rest of the table raved about it, me, while the steak was tender, it was just ok for me.
Lots of combos and Taco Tuesday is where it’s at!
