My sister was in town and we wanted to hit High Tea, so we decided on Colony at the Ritz Carlton in the Marina Bay area.  We had heard some nice things about it, so decided to give it a try.

Here they give you a savory portion in a tiffin and then it’s a Dessert buffet featuring a whole lot of items. Inside you start at the top with Yam Puff and Abalone.Next is a Pumpkin Cake with Chili Crab Sauce. Lobster Quiche.Beef Parmentier. Smoked Salmon Sandwich Then the dessert bar, which honestly was better than the hot and savory dishes.

A Raspberry Mousse Cake.Green Tea Cake.

A very thick Brownie. Cheese Tart Honeydew Sago – outstanding! Raspberry Crumble Mango Mousse CakeA Snickers-like confection – outstanding! Strawberry with MoussePineapple Panna Cotta A Cookie with a Caramel-y Truffle concoction on top – outstanding! Chocolate Mousse. A variety of Kuehs and also the Thai fruit desserts. Fresh Scones with Butter and Jam!Shaved Peanut wrapped with Yam Ice Cream and Cilantro in Popiah Skin! Yum! Eat it all!Not as hoity-toity as a Raffles High Tea, which is nice.  But the ambience is good and fun.  A definite go at S$49 a head.
