Omakase Tempura is also a great experience in Tokyo. We went to Takenoan in the Konwa Building and it was small, intimate and great food made with care from the chef.
The Omakase menu for the evening. We started with a little Tofu with Ouzu dressing. The first round of tempura was some nice vegeatables. Mushroom, Pumpkin and Okra. We were given different salts to dip. From left to right – Ouzu, Curry and Pepper. Ebi A beautiful flower, bitter but still sweet, and Asparagus We took a break for some Sashimi. Maguro, Ootoro, Chutoro, Ika Back to Tempura! Fish, Ika and Chili Pepper A little Tendon And Ice Cream to top it all offIt is definitely an experience for Omakase Tempura. It is a must try.
