Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok is Pak Kret/Nonthaburi. The area of the Impact Arena and Convention Center has grown in the last few years.
The Impact Lakeside has turned into a nice place for al fresco dining by a lake.
There are four restaurants you can order from – Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Western. You can combine and mix and match.
We stayed mainly with the Thai menus, but we also went with others.
Over the course of two nights we had a variety of Thai Soups
Tom Yum Kai
Tom Yum Koong
Leng Zaab. The Leng Zaab is so interesting. Sour and varying spiciness. Excellent taste!
Thai Salads – Som Tam Thai Pod Khai Khem (Corn and Salted Egg)
Som Tam with Raw Prawns
Som Tam with Grilled Pork Neck
Som Tam with Seafood
Grilled Fish with Lime Soup and Chilis. Along with Fried Fish and Mango Salad.
Fried Pork, Sour Sausage, Grilled Pork Neck and Pork Neck In Spicy Sauce.
Fried Prawns with Salad Sauce from the Chinese shop, Fried Rice, Omelette and Claypot Prawn Tang Hoon.
For the Western there is Pork and Chicken Quesadillas, Fish Tacos and Chicken Wings.
A nice atmosphere for hanging out and eating!
