There are plenty of things to eat at Jewel and Shang Social has a good reputation, so we sat down for lunch.

Opened by the Shangri-La group it’s main focus is on Cantonese cooking.

Cantonese BBQ is pretty decent. The Char Siew is very much in HK style, as is the Roast Pork and Duck.

The Char Siew Wonton Noodles were given dry, though I prefer soup. The highlight of these is the Char Siew and Wontons. The Wontons full of prawn and bite. Excellent!

The Dim Sum was also pretty good – Har Gow, Siew Mai, Carrot Cake, Chicken Feet, Spare Ribs and Fried Mango Roll.

Good food, but the price is a little high.
