Hanoi has a bunch of “Beer Garden” type places where you sit al fresco, enjoy some drinks, have some bites and, in some cases, can watch some sporting events.
Quán Nhậu Tự Do is one of these places. Sitting out on a nice April evening makes for a good night out.
Some Fried Pork Rinds in sauce with Sprouts to balance it out. Nothing can balance out the oil and fat from the Rinds. It was way too oily.
Raw Prawn Salad with chili and lime sauce, the heads fried with some crackers. Ok for me.
Grilled Pork Jowl and Squid Tentacles were better, as was Rice Cake with Pork Floss.
And there was also a dried meat that you wrap up. It’s supposed to go with beer. Not really for me.
