For New Year’s Eve, we went for a simple meal at Buddies Chef Grill at East Village. Simple fare, but a good taste.

The Seafaood Stew was full of flavor, but lacked variety in the Seafood. The broth was deep and good, a real good comforting dish.

Truffle Carbonara was sauced just nicely and not overly truffled, which made for a better taste.

My son wanted a Cheeseburger, but they ran out, so he settled for a Chicken Burger. The breast meat was surprisingly tender and moist, and made for a nice burger as the bun was also fresh and soft.

Spam Fries was a big hit with my wife and son.

This is good comfort food with good taste!
