Halli Jonne Biriyani is an out of the way place outside Bangalore where we wound up having Biriyani.

It is highly recommended by celebrities and the menu is small, and we tried a few things.

The Biriyani looks small, but it isn’t! It’s quite big and I couldn’t finish it.

We had some Chicken Kabab, which was deep fried chicken basically and quite dry.

Then some Chicken Fry, which was Chicken in Gravy – go figure. Also nothing to rave about.

The Biriyani had a lot of flavor though and the rice was short grain, not Basmati. So it was more interesting in taste. But then chicken inside is the usual Chicken Bones.

Good Biriyani though.
