Singapore Fried Hokkien Mee at Whampoa Market always has long queues.
We went early enough to catch it when there was a shorter queue. Good that it was short, but so happened that they just finished a batch when I was second to receive my order. So I still had to wait about 5 minutes while uncle cooked a new batch.
When it came out I purposely da bao so that they broth can soak into the noodles.
What I got was a good Hokkien Mee, but to me, it still lacked a flavor. To me it needed some more depth.
