Sometimes a place is more well known for an item on their menu which is not their specialty. For me, this place is like that. In East Coast Lagoon Village there is a Bak Kut Teh stall. But the Bak Kut Teh is only so so, the best dish is the Pig Trotter/Pork Leg.
It is one of the few stalls open for lunch there, and it is very popular for lunch.
You can get your choice of pork leg, lean or fatty. I prefer lean, and this time I got a lot of meat. For $6, it’s a nice filling lunch.
The meat is tender, the soup is nice, not too herbal. It is just very well done.
