Dinesty – Richmond, B.C.

Richmond is known for Asian food, after all, there is a huge Asian immigrant population in Vancouver and Richmond.  So naturally, the restaurants in Richmond are amazing.  We decided to go for Xiao Long Bao, and wound up at Dinesty.

It turns out that this place is like Din Tai Fung, the Taiwanese chain.  There is the open kitchen where you can see them preparing all of the dishes and making the Dumplings.  The menu is almost identical, let’s see how the food is.

Xiao Long Bao.  These are real good.  The skin is a little thinner than the picture seems, which makes a great dumpling.  The soup inside is plentiful and nice!  Great taste!

We tried the pan fried version too.  We wanted the crispy bottom.  Just as good!  Should have tried the Shang Jian Bao, but we ordered incorrectly.

And of course we needed some noodles.  Pickled vegetables and Pork.  Broth was so nice, the veggies fresh and the taste is excellent.
