Everyone says this is a must eat in Portland.  Either from the food truck in the Alder Street Pod, or in the restaurant.  So we chose to go to the restaurant version of Nong’s Khao Man Gai.

It is supposed to be Thai-style Chicken Rice.  Moist, flavorful and just great.  Let’s see.

The menu is simple.  Chicken and sides.

We went with one platter and some livers on the side for Lena.  It comes with soup and their dipping sauce.  Now to see how good it is!

I can’t say it’s great Chicken Rice.  A little flavorless if you ask me, not quite up to speed.  So much for must-eat in Portland…
