The trend for us in 2015 is to find nice Happy Hour places to try out. It gives us a chance to try these “named” places for less than what a normal dinner or lunch would cost. It’s a great way of doing things, and allows us to try places like Ballard Annex Oyster House.
The Happy Hour menu contains a lot of different things. Unfortunately we went during Restaurant Week, so the Oyster specials weren’t there, but there was the normal Happy Hour menu.
A nice little bar area with the Oyster selections.
We started with some Fried Clams. Crisp and nicely done. Love this!
Fish and Chips! A single piece, but it’s Happy Hour. A bit too crispy for me, but the fish was nice and the chips were good too.
Manila Steamers. The taste was awesome, done right at the bar in front of you if you sit there. Perfect in every way!
Definitely worth my Happy Hour visit and I’ll be back!
Hi Jay! I enjoyed reading about your experience at Ballard Annex, and I was hoping to ask you a question about your post over email. Would you mind emailing me when you get a chance? Thank you!
