You can really explore the Xujiahui area quite a bit and there are a lot of restaurants. Sometimes you stick to the big malls and the restaurants there. Jardin de Jade is one of those. It specializes in Shanghainese cuisine. A quick dinner with some of the guys after a day of meetings.
Our first dish was Char Siew Shanghai Style. It’s a little more deeper in color and more of the fat. Not a bad taste at all.
Poached Chicken with Salty Pickled Radish. Chicken was nice, but way too salty for me.
Some vegetables to table the salt.
A little Roast Duck.
Braised River Fish with Garlic and Vegetables.
Braised Pork Belly. Not for the fat and cholesterol conscious.
Some Red Bean Pastry to end the night.
