A lazy Saturday afternoon and looking for lunch.  Saw a new place at Bedok Mall!  Let’s try!  Talad Thai sort of looks like a “street food” joint in Thailand.  It has a metal gate, metal tables and chairs and a dessert stand to make desserts.  And then an open kitchen where you can see them preparing noodles.  It also has fake chickens hanging, but that’s another story.

How is the food?

First off was a Fish Maw Noodle Soup.  Interesting to say the least.  Flavorful and not bad.

Next was Stewed Pork Noodles.  Went for the Bee Hoon here, and I have to say it lacked some flavor.  Only when I added the Fish Sauce with Chili did it really bring out the rest of the dish.  Without that Fish Sauce and Chili, it is really bland.

Tasted pretty good, will have to try it again!
