I arrive in Budapest in the mid-afternoon – famished and looking for a quick late lunch.  I was staying on the Buda side and right on the Danube was Zona – a great looking place that looked inviting.

Great view of the Chain Bridge right outside. Inside is inviting and quite nice.And you can look right out onto the Danube. A bright day!Went for the lovely Seafood Risotto to start.  Infused with some Masala, it was a nice interesting mix of a dish.  Seafood, hard to find in landlocked Hungary, was quite fresh and nice! Yes, landlocked and I again went for seafood!  But this is Trout, readily found in Hungarian streams.  This is pan fried and placed on a bed of vegetables.  Quite fresh and nicely done.You just get a good feeling with a decent meal here at Zona.  Love the location and a great place to have a meal and relax.
