Morskie Oko Restauracja – Krakow

More traditional Polish food for us.  This place was supposed to be a city center traditional type restaurant with the food and decor.

We never saw the basement until I went to to the restroom.  Downstairs is old, stone, fireplace and wood stove.  Like the old days!  Upstairs at Morskie Oko is like a ski lodge.  If I had known, I would have wanted to be downstairs… Anyway, to the food!  Here is Bigos, a traditional dish of Sauerkraut, Sausages and Meat.  Like a stew, that’s what they call it.  I am not sure I can take so much Sauerkraut sometimes.  I like it, but… More Pierogi!  This time boiled.  Cabbage, cheese and mushroom inside these.

The fried ones are better.I am sure this place is better than what we got.  But not sure it’s worth another try for me.
