Restoran Soo Huat Bak Kut Teh – Seremban, Kuala Lumpur

Was out for a meeting in the Seremban area and across from the company are the little strip-type shops that are all over Malaysia.  We went for Bak Kut Teh since my colleagues from Japan love Bak Kut Teh!

We went for two types – Soup and Dry.

Here is the Soup version.  I do enjoy the “Malaysia” style a little better than the Teochew style.  It is more herbal and they add a lot of different ingredients into it. Items such as veggies, bean curd skin, mushrooms, tofu, etc.

In addition Pork Belly is used instead of Pork Ribs.

The taste is just awesome.  No doubt about it.  Tender meat, rich broth – I love it.

The dry version is more like 三杯鸡, where you have the soy sauce, sugar, chili that is stewed and made dry.  Definitely a different taste, but still tender meat.

I want to do more business so I can come back and eat here!
