Down the hill from The Equatorial Hotel and across from SPICE in Penang near Bayan Lepas is this little coffee shop that offers a wide variety of foods. We decided to give it a try.

I always go for two things in Penang – Assam Laksa and Char Kway Teow.

This is the Assam Laksa which was flavored just right, not too sour, not too spicy and full of flavor.

Likewise the Char Kway Teow had all the right flavors and was not too greasy.  Smooth!

Outside was a vendor selling durians.

We went for a Red Prawn Durian.

Huge!

One small taste was all I took.
