Chain burger joints can be quite good and I have heard nothing but good things about Hans Im Glück, the burger joint out of Germany.  There is a branch in Singapore and my wife has been to the one in Stuttgart, so it was my turn to head to the one in Nuremberg.

The weather was quite gorgeous when I was in Nuremberg, thus everyone was dining al fresco except me.Interesting interior. Burger.  That’s what I wanted.  I went for their lunch special, which includes a drink and an ending coffee/tea.  The drink I went with was a Fruit Iced Tea. Burgers and Fries!  Steak Fries – not my favorite, but done well and they are okay for me.  These are done well, so I have no complaints.I went for a different style of burger.  This one is a Gorgonzola Pear Burger.   It was certainly different.  But for me, not enough sauce on it and the burger was a bit dry.  The bun was good, not too much and not too little.

I am going to have to try it again to get a better judge on it.
