I have heard a lot about this Thai Wanton Mee shop. It is supposed to be one of the best Thai Wanton Mee stalls in Singapore. It’s close to my office, so we tried it one day.
Luckily we got there before the crowd. The picture above shows how busy it can get during peak hours. For us, we were second in queue when we showed up. Just 15 minutes later the queue turned to 10+ persons and was growing during the lunch hour.
The menu is quite simple, really. There are varying portions that you can get.
Well known for the Wanton Mee, but they also serve Pig Trotters. I really wanted to try it, but didn’t think I could eat that much.
This is the Large Bowl, $5. It’s quite a hefty bowl of noodles! Aside from the Wantons, there is Char Siew and Fish Sausage! The sausage makes the taste quite interesting with the whole taste of it. The noodles were crisp and biting and the Thai Style of no sauce with just a bit of lard is pretty good.
This is a great bowl of Thai Wanton Mee. There is no doubt at all. I can’t wait to try this again and perhaps the Pork Trotters.
